Clifford Maracle is a Mohawk Indian. Born on the Tyendinaga Reserve, in Canada. He studied at George Brown College, and did an Honours Graduate Studies at the Ontario College of Art. He was associated with Arthur Shilling and Gary Miller in the early 1970's. Other influences and parallels include Fritz Scholder, Francis Bacon, Karel Appel and Edvard Munch. These works were painted in acrylic medium. All sizes are approximations.
