Late Spring-Pappineau Creek, New Carlow Road.

This was painted on a road trip that ran over 200 kms in one day. I was looking for that perfect moment of ice, water and sun in late spring. When the creeks are near swollen with life and winter run off. I found it near Maple Leaf Ontario. The sun plays such an important part in the creation of life. When I sing the Sun Rise song in the morning, I feel really good about the day. It (the sun) gives life, releases the earth from the grips of winter and makes one be glad just to be alive and share in it.
