Observations: Another depiction of the great water god Mishipeshoo, who is both advantageous and dangerous, especially to women. The prerogrative of women in daily life was her attention to the uses of water. The 'x-ray' technique is evolving into pattern and metamorphosis, and the petroglyph-derived palette, while still dominant, is being transformed by the addition of vivid primary colours.
