Observations: Tonal monolith of male superiority and strength within a broken, non-linear world. The horizon disappears out of view, and subtle colour contrasts create confusion within the world. Chromatically, the picture depicts the gradual movement away from a muted palette and towards what was to become Morrisseau's signature vivid palette based on primary colours in tension yet balanced.
