Observations: Thomas makes use of the Biblical tale of the Great Flood, but comically changes Noah's ark into a beaver, reclaiming this universal myth for first nations. The power lines and circles - derived from Morrisseau - add to the unity of the philosophy and the graphic intensity of the painting. His line is confident, his colours harmonious, and the piece explores the recurring theme of humans in harmony with nature.
