Morrisseau Prints
In addition to being a legendary painter, throughout his career Norval Morrisseau worked with his father-in-law and two brothers-in-law to form a printing cooperative called the Triple K, based in Red Lake, Ontario. He also worked with Great Lakes and the Volpe Gallery to produce limited edition prints.
A prolific printmaker, Morrisseau produced dozens of prints and series during his lifetime, the most important of which is inarguably the suite of six silkscreens produced to accompany the publication in 1979 of the French edition of 'The Art of Norval Morrisseau' by Lister Sinclair and Jack Pollock, published by Methuen.
