Observations: Part of the myth of Sedna includes her relationship with a second deity - Kiviuk who reveals himself in the body of a dog. In fact when Sedna was transforming from spirit to human, she was accompanied by Kiviuk. This sculpture shows Sedna birthing a child from Kiviuk - the dog spirit.
